I know for the Twi-hards out there Thursday at midnight could not come quick enough, and yes I will proudly say i am one of them. The movie premiere in L.A was last night. They only sold 800 tickets to fans to be able to watch the stars arrive on the red carpet. People started camping out as early as last Thursday to reserve their spots. Myspace took it upon themselves to show the red carpet arrivings on live video stream on the Myspace website. Thousand upon thousands of people watched the veiwing of the stars arriving on the red carpet. I think it was a nice idea, seeing that all of us could not of flown to California to be there. I know, I watched a few minutes of the red carpet. The New Moon movie does not hit theaters until 12am on Friday.
I read the books and they're alright. I saw the first one and it was alright too, I will go see this new film. Must have been exciting for those fans to be there when the stars walked the carpet.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm sure you know that I will definitely be there tonight to see the premiere of New Moon. I have had my tickets for a few months, and I'm sure many others have had theirs a long time too. I think it's great for Stephanie Meyer, the director, and the cast of New Moon. They are getting a lot of attention in the media. I can't tell you how many advertisements I have seen just in the past few days. They are selling merchandise left and right. New Moon hasn't even premiered world-wide yet, and it's already a huge hit.
ReplyDeleteI have no interest, whatsoever, in seeing this movie. The movie I really want to see is Boondock Saints II, and it won't be released here, so that saddens me.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen the movies or read the books, and don't plan to. I have no interest. I am tired of seeing advertisements for this movie.
ReplyDeleteWell I read all the books and saw the movie a couple days after it came out and I love everything about it. I do think that it has gotten alittle out of control with all the fans though.
