PLAYSTATION and NETFLIX

Playstation and Netflix are joining forces! Now if you own a PS3 , you will be able to access Netflix with your console. X Box already offers this use, but members have to pay $50 a year for the catalog of movies from Netflix. PS3 is not going to charge that fee like X Box has, it will be programed into the console with a update on the software. You will receive the whole Nexflix catalog with no extra cost. I love this idea. I have one of the PS3 and think its pretty cool i will be able to get the movies right off of my PS3 console.

  1. Sweet!! I do not own a PS3, but I've been planning to get one for the longest time and this would be a great addition. I know XBOX 360 has some neat features and since my brother is an expert when it comes to anything to know about games, he promotes XBOX. But for me, I've just always been a PS fan and even if the PS3 has some issues from what I heard, I still want it. Thanks for the update!

  2. Whoa! That's awesome!! Most avid video gamers I'd imagine are also pretty big movie buffs so that's a great idea for both those companies to merge (me being a video game/movie lover, myself). So since the PS3 isn't going to charge for its use.. how does Netflix profit off of that? Or are they?

  3. Ah, Netflix. How I miss thee. It was already so convenient, no late fees, almost any movie you could want to find, and all came straight to your door! Getting movies streaming right to your tv though? Very cool. If only I could afford it again!

  4. This sounds great. Netflix must have made some sort of deal with whoever makes PS3 in order to offer this service to them, that's awesome though, even more incentive to buy PS3, though I'm not sure they need it.
