TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON

I know for the Twi-hards out there Thursday at midnight could not come quick enough, and yes I will proudly say i am one of them. The movie premiere in L.A was last night. They only sold 800 tickets to fans to be able to watch the stars arrive on the red carpet. People started camping out as early as last Thursday to reserve their spots. Myspace took it upon themselves to show the red carpet arrivings on live video stream on the Myspace website. Thousand upon thousands of people watched the veiwing of the stars arriving on the red carpet. I think it was a nice idea, seeing that all of us could not of flown to California to be there. I know, I watched a few minutes of the red carpet. The New Moon movie does not hit theaters until 12am on Friday.

TWITTER PHONE?

The Twitter phenomenon has swept all of us by storm. Twitter is being used by everyone, its said to be  the new facebook. Famous people from Obama to Ashley Olsen have a Twitter account. Now Twitter is to come out with a new smart phone called the Twitterpeek, the phone is going to be called the" Twitter Blue". The phone will allow you to upload tweets and reply to other just like a regular computer would allow you to do on the Twitter site. The Twitter phone really is nothing new, most people can access the site through the phones  that are already out. The TwitterPeak is going to sell for $99, and a monthly fee on $7.95  or $199 with a lifetime of service. Do you think the Twitter phone is worth it?

PLAYSTATION and NETFLIX

Playstation and Netflix are joining forces! Now if you own a PS3 , you will be able to access Netflix with your console. X Box already offers this use, but members have to pay $50 a year for the catalog of movies from Netflix. PS3 is not going to charge that fee like X Box has, it will be programed into the console with a update on the software. You will receive the whole Nexflix catalog with no extra cost. I love this idea. I have one of the PS3 and think its pretty cool i will be able to get the movies right off of my PS3 console.

Scariest Movie EVER???

Paranormal Activity has made it big. This low budget film that was never suppose to hit the big screen is now one of the biggest movies out right now. This film was made on only $15,000. After being played about a year ago at a film festival, a cult formed of people who loved this movie. Stephen Spielberg wanted to make a remake of this movie, but instead paramount/dream works turned this movie into something HUGE. Playing first at a few college towns, it become known as  the scariest movie ever. The did extremely well advertising by the trailer for this movie. It not being in most towns, people were advised to "DEMAND" the movie, literally by going to their website you could demand the movie in your town. It worked, now Paranormal Activity is playing in all cities. I saw the movie, it was pretty scary, but not the scariest movie i have seen, worth going to see.

MILEY SAYS GOODBYE TO THE TWITTER WORLD

Miley Cyrus has deleted her Twitter account. Most people would say, seriously who cares. But, to be honest i enjoyed reading her tweets. Stupid i know, but she had a exciting life and i am just enough of a dork to read her postings.
Miley posted a rap video on friday explaining why she deleted her Twitter account. "I'm done tryin' to please, I ain't livin' for tabloids, I am living for me," the 16 year-old actress and singer sang in a "Goodbye Twitter" rap posted on YouTube. In her last tweet she wrote that her current boyfriend did not have a Twitter account, therefore he wanted her to delete hers, this tweet was posted on Thursday. Friday came around and Cyrus had posted a rap video explaining it was not because of her current boyfriend Liam Hensworth but because of personal reasons.
This really makes no sense to me, she is the one posted what she does, if she did not want everyone to see what she was doing every second of the day, why did she tweet about it.

LATE NIGHT FORGIVENESS

David Letterman earlier this week announced on public T.V. that he cheated on his wife with woman that work on The David Letterman Show. This was said to be a blackmail incident worth $2 million dollars.  On the show Monday he public apologized to his wife. " I have my work cut out for me" Letterman said, that is a understatement. He has not only embarrassed his wife public but also made himself look like a idiot, why do that to someone you love.

DISNEY TO CHARGE FOR STORY BOOKS ONLINE...

Disney is revealing a new addition to the Disney franchise this Tuesday. For around $75.00 a year you can have a prescription to read Disney story books online. The age range is from 3-12 years old. The storybooks will go from Winne the Pooh to Hannah Montana, the children can enjoy oldies and new storybooks. The controversy is , will this take away from the parent child time of story time before bed. I would rather have my dad snuggle next to me and read me my old Little Mermaid book then him pop out his IPhone and read to me. Who knows how this will work out.
